 Hubbardton Forge was founded in the town of Hubbardton, Vermont in 1974. In a drafty old barn, the first ‘board of directors’, a few remaining craftsmen of an industry long lost to the efficiencies of manufacturing, mentored other blacksmiths to build a company that today combines form and function in each high-quality piece they make.
Three-time recipient of the Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence in the State of Vermont, Hubbardton Forge has pioneered new methods for cleaning and finishing, reducing process waste and managing energy.
